Firmware upgrade fails
Hello,
I can't update the firmware for my XE200(EU/1.0) to the latses version.
I tried via the Deco android app and also via the webpage of the Deco and both local upgrade and online upgrade.
I totally deleted my network and after a new setup I tried it directly via a network cable without any sattelite deco's.
The message after a local upgrade is: Upgrade failed. Please select the latest version of firmware to update.
Can somebody send me a solution?
Thanks,
Geert

Hi, may I know where you purchased the Deco XE200?
You can test whether you can update to the 1.0.1 version here via web UI:
1.0.1 Build 20220810 Rel. 70178
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

I got the Deco XE200 directly from the RMA of TP-benelux (Netherlands) as my Deco XE75 pro had a broken network port and RMA was unable to delever a new XE75pro due to delevery problems. So they sent me the XE200 as replacement.
I think the 200 had already issues... and it was a RMA device that was there 'on the shelf'.
I'll try the 1.0.1 firmware tonight
Thanks!

I Have another question regarding the XE200.
In Belgium we have via our local provider digital tv provided via a TV-box (Humax 2008C-STB-TN)
When in the past the TV-box was connected via the Deco wifi signal with main Deco XE75pro there was no problem.
Since I have the Deco XE200 as main Deco, connected via cable to the modem, I experience some troubles with delayed watching and recorded tv programs.
When I connect the TV-box via cable then there is no problem.
Is it possible the there's a problem with the main Deco XE200 regarding blocking ports, IP6 adresses or something else that the XE75Pro has not?
Kind regards
Geert
