  @ARGamingPK1 Hmm.  I updated the firmware using the link provided in all three S4's and still don't see connection preference.  I have the system in Access Point mode and am using the latest version of the app for Android (3.10.8).  I tried it with fast roaming and beam forming both enabled and disabled.  On the plus side, I haven't had any stability issues yet.  I know the app is very slow to respond so I'll give it more time.  I have three older decos in the system (model W2400), but in the past, I was still able to set connection preferences to the S4's.  Any ideas?

  @ARGamingPK1 I started out with three W2400 about 4 years ago, then added the three S4's about a year later.  The S4's serve as the main and two of the satellites closest to the main.  They form two branches going in opposite directions on the property and at the end of the line are the 2400's.    That way, the 2400's don't have to pass anything through.

I was able to select connection preference with that setup for about six months then it went away, maybe within the last few months.

The 2400s are running firmware 1.5.2 Build 20231227 Rel 64408.  I don't know the version number.  On the bottom it says US/2.6 after the SN, but the S4's say the same thing so I'm not sure  I couldn't find the version number in the app or web UI.  (Now that you ask, I guess I got lucky updating the S4's to 1.7 since I don't know what the real version is).

  @lapsmith Thanks everyone, it worked!  That version did it, it is so nice to have control back again.  I went from one deco having a weak signal to the same one having medium to strong.  

WIfi is stable so far.  Only thing I noticed is that the app refused to show the correct status of most satellites, saying they were off line when if fact they were working and LEDs verified it. Even the next day.  I did two things just now that may have helped.  I turned on beam forming and also rebooted the network.  Time will tell.
