VPN Connection
There is no option to add a VPN to my X50 (Hardware V1.0, Software 2.0.3 Build 20240112 Rel. 36417).
Can I upgrade the existing unit to add the VPN option, or do I need a new Deco router, and if so which is the cheapest device I can buy?

Was the Deco provided by the ISP?
The current firmware_2.0.3 Build 20240112 Rel. 36417 is a local-ISP customized firmware version that hasn't added VPN features.
How many Deco units do you have? Are they all on 2.0.3 Build 20240112 Rel. 36417?

Yes the Deco was provided by the ISP.
I have one other X50 exactly the same, as well as 2 older X20's.
Assuming (as I expect) none of these have a VPN option what would be my best bet for a new modem that has VPN features and will still work ok with 2 x X50's as routers, one hardwired and one wireless.

Hi, thank you very much for the update.
VPN features only need support on the main Deco. You're right that adding a new Deco that supports VPN server & Client would be the quickest solution to have VPN features for the whole Mesh network: Deco VPN Server/Client Supported List.
