Deco M4 shows Offline / Red-White blinking when wired via another Deco (worked for years)
I need help understanding an issue with my Deco mesh setup that recently started, even though it worked fine for many years.
My Setup
Main unit: Deco M5
Satellite units: 3 × Deco M4
Backhaul: Ethernet
Topology:
M5 (Main) | Switch | Deco M4 (Online) | Deco M4 (Offline but internet is working)
M5 (Main) | Switch | Deco M4 (Online)
The Issue
One of the Deco M4 units:
- Shows Offline in the Deco app
- LED keeps cycling blinking red → solid white for a second → red
- Internet is still working on devices connected through this Deco
- This exact wiring worked perfectly for many years
- The issue appeared recently without any physical wiring changes
I request assistance to understand why a Deco M4 connected via Ethernet through another Deco now shows Offline with red/white blinking despite working fine for years, and whether this is due to a recent firmware or cloud-side change.
