Deco X95 - No firmware update for a long time
Hello tp-link team... just a simple and direct question, any news for an update to the X95 Router and it's firmware?
i have a mesh network with X95, X5700 and X50s and only the top guy has not received any updates in 2025.

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.
I'm afraid there hasn't been any news for the firmware release plan of Deco X95. It is recommended to pay attention to the firmware notification on the Deco App as well as the firmware release notes on the official websites.
Have you ever considered switching Deco X5700 as the main Deco?
It also has a 2.5G Ethernet port, and the WiFi Backhaul speed between Deco X95 and X5700 will stay the same, no matter which one is the main unit.
Thanks a lot.
Best regards.

@David-TP hello! Thanks for the Response!
Well i bought the X95 thinking that the better processor and wifi speeds would give that extra boost to my mesh network specially on the wireless backhaul. One of the X5700 were the main deco and i switched.
But it has been forgotten in the update cicle and also on the new features, specially regarding security. Unfortunately as the X95 have 3 ethernet ports, and i'm using all of them, going back to the x5700 means that i would need to buy a switch just for one port (the 2 devices don't have wifi to switch over and the 2.5G port is used by my fiber modem).
As the x95 is the top tier premium product i would have imagined that it would follow the updates of the x90 and x5700.
My mesh is currently configured like this: X95 Main --> 2 X50 + X5700 --> X5700
