Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.0 Build 20250718 Rel. 43949

Hi. I recently added a X50-Outdoor to my BE65 network. Initially I was able to access the upper band of the 5ghz network and select a higher frequency. An update was issued for the X50-Outdoor (Firmware Version 1.3.1 Build 20251030 Rel. 41614) which I installed. Since the update to the firmware I have lost any ability to select any upper band frequencies as they have disappeared and can only set lower band frequencies.  I live in Australia and there is no limitation on using the upper band.   Has anyone else experienced this?  Also if any TP-Link employees reads this can they get it fixed.

Hi, welcome to the community.

Can you share some screenshots here about the wireless settings on the Deco App?

"Since the update to the firmware, I have lost any ability to select any upper band frequencies as they have disappeared and can only set lower band frequencies."

-For the upper vs lower band, do you refer to band 4(channel 149-165) vs band 1(36-48)?

Did you purchase both Deco X50-Outdoor and Deco BE65 from Australia?

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

Yes. All equipment bought in Australia. I use to see the upper bands in the 5ghz range before I upgraded the firmware on the outdoor device.

Hi, it is suggested to refer to this reply:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/850998?replyId=1646064

Band 4(channel 149-165) doesn't have enough bandwidth for 160MHz. and Deco BE65 as well as Deco X50-outdoor use band1+band 2 to achieve 160mhz over 5Ghz;

Best regards.
