Hello,

 

I am using the Archer C6U EU V1 and was wanting to know if it has any plans for DoH and DoT support via a firmware update like the Archer C6 newer series. The last firmware update has been since ages and DoH is a must feature for most modern routers.

If possible a small firmware update will be much appreciated.

Edit: I see that the Global EU (V1) has a newer firmware version Archer C6U(EU)_V1_250523. Since the C6U is available only as EU (v1) and mine is also EU (V1) it should be safe to flash.

The Archer C6 V4 supports DoH but not DoT. For routers support both DoH and DoT, you can refer to  Wi-Fi Routers Support DoH and DoT Network.

Yes, you can download this version manually, as it's an EU version.

Regarding DoH/DoT feature, we haven't received any information about its addition. Please keep an eye out for future firmware updates.

Can you please confirm if the Archer C6 V4 (US) or V4.80 (IN) has DoH support? 

I will then buy one of those and use my C6U as wired extension.
