X50-PoE Wireguard support - any progress?

Model: Deco X50 - PoE

Hardware Version: V2

Firmware Version: 1.5,0

Almost a year ago I asked, and I was told that the Deco X50-PoE_v2 is also planned to support WireGuard VPN protocol.

Any updates on when this is likely to happen?

I don't have any non-PoE X50s, so I can't use that.

Hi, nice to see you again.

I haven't received any updates either. It is recommended to pay attention to the firmware notification on the Deco App as well as the firmware release notes on the official website.

This is crucial upgrade we really need to protect the network and our data. Currently RSA keys for OpenVPN are only 1024 bit - whereas the keys should be minimum 2048 bit. Also wireguard is much faster and many older Deco models already support it such as Deco M4. Deco X50 non-POE is receiving all the updates however the only POE offering in Deco series Deco X50-POE is lagging and seems abandoned. Kindly push a firmware update to Deco X50 POE to enable Wireguard. I am currently running firmware 1.5.0 and that was released in June 2025 - no update since then
