Deco Be25 OpenVPN certificates
Hello,
I am using a Deco BE25 with the latest firmware.
The built-in OpenVPN server generates RSA keys with a length of 1024 bits. My OpenVPN client refuses the connection because it enforces a minimum of 2048-bit RSA keys.
I do not see any option in the Deco app or web interface to change the OpenVPN certificate or key size, or to upload custom certificates.
Please confirm the following:
-
Whether the current firmware supports 2048-bit RSA keys for OpenVPN.
-
If not, whether support for 2048-bit or stronger keys is planned.
-
If there is any supported workaround to use stronger OpenVPN cryptography on the Deco BE25.
This is a blocker for secure remote access, since 1024-bit RSA is no longer considered acceptable by modern clients.
Thank you for your help.
Best regards,
Joey
