Model: Archer BE9300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.3 Build 20260127 rel.53303(4555)

I know in most threads about this the answer is negative but I want to ask if there are any plans to enable IPv6 vpn servers on BE9300. Many ASUS routers ( i tried at least 3) but also brands like Ubiquiti offer options with Wireguard IPv6 but on my "high end" tplink all server options are limited to IPv4.

As many isps are transitioning to IPv6, this is an issue and hold TP-link from being a real competitor of other brands..

Hi,

It was only yesterday that TP-Link have introduced support for IPv6 VPN on one of their router models.

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/857584

History has shown that when TP-Link introduces a new feature they usually first bring it to one model only and see how it goes. It can then take quite long time before the feature gets rolled out to more router models and in most cases there will be no preannouncement.

@woozle This is great news (i guess?) as I didn't expect much. IPv6 VPN is a must these days and BE400 is not a very different version from my own BE550. I hope they will be releasing this in more routers soon but also this might be a great opportunity for custom firmwares.
