Automations are triggered by a change in time or device status. If the trigger is geofencing, the rule will run when you “arrive at” or “leave” the specified location. If you stay at home or remain away without a status change, the automation will not be triggered, and the associated action will not run.

To meet your need, you can use an idle Tapo plug as a presence indicator—for example, On for “at home” and Off for “away.”

Here is an example for the automation setup, three rules are needed.

Automation A: Presence check

Effective time: Always

Trigger: when i arrive home
Then: Turn On Plug A (indicating you're at home)

Automation B: Presence check

Effective time: Always

Trigger: when i leave home
Then: Turn Off Plug A (indicating you're away)

Automation C

Effective time: Always

Trigger: Weekdays at 6:30 AM
If: Plug A is On (presence check)
Then: Turn On Plug B (the load device you want to control)

I eventually have solved by creating 2 rules that turn off/on the schedule rules when I leave/arrive.
