Hi im looking for some help,

I currently have 2 x Archer BE3600 one as router and the other a mesh AP. Question can 2 x Archer BE3600 in AP mode connect to another router and still form a wireless mesh network?

Forgive my ignorance if i haven't used the correct terminology.

Cheers Scott

You should be able to connect a B3600 *in AP mode), which is connected to another satellite BE3600 in mesh according to this article.

@Joseph-TP Can you help with another issue i have? My Eufy X8 Pro robovac will not connect to the router unless I globally turn off wifi 7 (802.11be) on 2.4Ghz. Is this a firmware issue with the X8 Pro or a BE3600 issue? (all of my other IoT devices connect without issue with Wifi 7 active which proves backward compatability works - so i assume that it is the X8 causing the problem. Can you confirm?

Thanks

Scott

Hello @ScottG07 ,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Based on the current situation, there may be an incompatibility between the robot vacuum and the router's Wi-Fi 7 network. If possible, you can try connecting the robot vacuum to other Wi-Fi 7 networks.

Alternatively, you can contact the robot vacuum's support to confirm its compatibility with Wi-Fi 7 networks.

Best Regards.

The Eufy X8 Pro robot vacuum is compatible with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks only and does not support 5GHz networks. It is designed for IEEE 802.11b/g/n networks.
Wi-Fi Band: 2.4GHz is mandatory. If you have a dual-band router that combines 2.4GHz and 5GHz into one network name (SSID), you may need to temporarily separate them or disable the 5GHz band during setup.
Wi-Fi 7: While compatible with modern routers, some users have reported that having 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) enabled on the 2.4GHz band can interfere with connection. Disabling WiFi 7 features on that band may be necessary.
