@xg4ll I unfortunately do not have any information on those particular models as I'm only testing out the GE800 and that too as a regular user like everyone else. But if they have released a firmware for all of them together in the past, I don't see why they can't do it soon when they drop it for the GE800. I believe since they share the GE series name, they too should be able to get updates. I believe it's just a matter of when. Which is the hardest part as communication can definitely be better. There was a post somewhere here that they posted regarding all of the routers that are compatible with the upcoming R3 firmware, so if they are on the list, then it is promised. Wish I had some concrete news for you, but I'm not even sure about the GE800 until I see the update at this point.

@CacheMode I appreciate the update for all of us. Definitely good to hear that they are indeed working on it and there should be something pretty soon.

Just an update for you guys I noticed that they have released the bug fix firmware for the GE800! If the Tether app doesn't show the update, then you can go to the download page and upgrade it. It definitely targets all of the stuff we all have been facing. Really glad that the "soon" they said, was actually very soon! Now I hope everything stays on track for the R3 release next month *fingers crossed*

So after some time with this firmware (1.3.3) official, although much better, I've noticed some weird quirks. I've been learning how to manage my network better so though I would try to give custom names to my 10 devices at home and it works through the app. But a lot of the times when I reboot my router I lose ALL the names! Like what gives. I can't even begin to imagine for those of you that probably have way more than me and to lose all that work o.0

When giving custom names through the web UI, it doesn't let me enter the names and doesn't like spaces. I don't put anything fancy (ex. Bob's MacBook) perfectly fine in the app but when doing it through web ui, it gives errors. So found this issue along with the custom names getting wiped a lot of the times after reboot.

@LokiLatency - I too have noticed these bugs and have reported it to the engineers, but was told it is definitely related to the firmware. Nothing on an ETA of any kind for this fix, but it is definitely annoying to have to deal with a different type of

@Joseph-TP I definitely will share whatever timeline I am given although now that it's April, I'm hoping that everything is still on time and we are able to get the R3 firmware sometime this month :)

Also wanted to inform the engineers that the Tether app (iOS) does not notify at all of any known devices or new devices that join the network, despite the toggle being on. Different devices have been tried, and the app has been uninstalled and reinstalled with the same outcome. This may have something to do with the current firmware of the router as I was told by the engineers that there is an issue, but they did not specify of any ETA on a bug fix firmware (ex. 1.3.4 ???)
