Our user Bohera reported this here.

Available Solutions:

Our R&D department has identified the cause of this unexpected behavior and released a firmware update to correct it. If your Archer BE230_V2 also encounters the above anomaly, please try manually downloading the firmware.

Hi All,

If you also encounter the OpenVPN client stopping working, you can download the newer firmware version.

What To Do If the OpenVPN Client Stops Working After Updating Archer BE230 V2 to 1.3.1?

  @Joseph-TP

Hi,

I have been getting random reboots on my BE230 since last week. I have turned off SMB as well as updating to the beta version of firmware and I am still facing the random reboots. I have tried using a different power socket and this is still happening. Specifically the power indicator will be flashing when the wifi cuts out most likely indiciating that it has restarted.

Thanks!

thanks for the reply. i have now updated to the latest beta firmware version however I am still facing frequent router restarts. I have a simple setup of NBN->router->device

I don't believe it's NBN as the lights never change in the NBN box while the router lights all turn off and the power light starts flashing when disconnect occurs.

Hello  @gudejinchou ,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Please Disconnect all devices for comparison:
• Unplug all Ethernet cables attached to the router
• Change the Wi-Fi network name to something different (this will disconnect all wireless client devices)
• Observe if the self-rebooting issue disappears

This test will help determine if a connected device might be causing the router to reboot.

The tech team has been made aware of your case; they will likely reach out to you via email to continue troubleshooting. Please check your email inbox and confirm.
