@Ailton20
Hello,
Thank you for joining the community and for sharing the details of the issue with your Tapo C520WS.
To better understand the situation, could you please help confirm a few points for us?
- Does this high‑pitched noise appear immediately after the firmware update, and was it not present at all before the update?
- Have you noticed any other abnormal behavior since updating the firmware, aside from the audio noise?
As an initial check, we kindly suggest trying the following adjustment:
1. Ensure the camera is not placed in enclosed spaces or near surfaces that may reflect sound.
2. Make sure your mobile device is positioned away from the camera, preferably in a different room. When the phone is too close to the camera during a voice call, it can lead to audio feedback, resulting in whistling and noise.
3. Lower the microphone volume of the camera to below 50%. A higher volume setting can magnify the noise decibel. You can adjust the microphone volume on the live view page of the camera.
Here is an instruction with a more detailed explanation: How to Reduce Noise on Tapo Cameras
Additionally, please confirm whether the noise is present:
- When viewing the live view, and
- When playing back recorded videos
If possible, we would greatly appreciate it if you could provide a short audio or video clip that captures the noise clearly. This will help us analyze the sound more accurately and advise on the next steps.
Best Regards
