My Deco M5 V.3.20 got updated to firmware firmware 1.9.4 build 20260312 rel. 17129 last night.
but there was no features listed for this one ? is there anyone knew about features for this new firmware 1.9.4 build 20260312 rel. 17129 ? Thank you

TP-Link appears to make this firmware version available on its US website, while TP-Link Spain still recommends it even though the Spanish site does not offer the download.
This is another reason for me to consider switching brands. TP-Link’s communication lacks both transparency and consistency.

Hi @Nardol , I agree that the availability of TP-Link Deco firmware is somewhat strange or downright inconsistent, at least for older models:
- I've had a mesh network of 7 Deco M9 Plus and Deco M5 units for several years.
- I've never used the Spanish URLs - since they are always outdated in terms of firmware availability - but rather accessed the support page for any other European country (you can change 'es' to 'en' in the product support URL).
- The reality is that, even today, the support websites for the same product in different countries offer different 'latest' versions, which doesn't seem to make sense.

Since the latest firmware (V1.9.4) for the Deco M5 V1/V2/V3 is still being rolled out gradually, the firmware details shown on official websites in different countries may vary. I will record and report this situation to the relevant team to ensure the Deco M5 firmware information on all official country websites is updated as soon as possible.

In English (domain www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/deco-m9-plus/v1/#Firmware)
- Last versión for Deco M9 Plus V2 / V2.20 is 1.9.1 Build 20250612
In general (en + es):
- Last version for Deco M9 Plus V1 is stuck at 1.7.1 Build 20250905
This has been this way since the last 12 months (approx). For some reason, Spanish site is outdated. For some reason, TP-Link has stopped syncrhonizing firmware support between same product versions. Take into account that, as a consumer, i did not decide which product version I was acquiring.

Deco nodes with the same model but different hardware versions may use different firmware versions, and their firmware update schedules can therefore differ. We don't have specific details on when a new firmware will be released for the Deco M9 Plus; however, if a new firmware is released, you will usually receive a notification in the Deco app. You can also pay attention to the official website to see whether a new firmware version has been published for your Deco models.
