Hi Community,

 

I am using a 4G router (Archer MR600) and am currently unable to upgrade its software. No updates are showing via OTA so far.

 

Below are my device details:

 

Firmware Version: 1.1.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 240715 Rel.60489n

 

Hardware Version: Archer MR600 v5.8 00000001

 

I would appreciate any help in finding the latest firmware version (beta or stable). If possible, please share a valid download link so I can update my router.

 

I am encountering the following error during manual upgrade: Error Code: 4503 – The uploaded file was not accepted.

Your Archer MR600's firmware is different from the one on our official website. Please provide more details for further analysis.


  1. Where did you purchase the router, such as from your ISP, local store, or another region?
  2. Please refer to the instructions below to check the hardware version on the bottom label. Then, check the router is US, EU, or another version.
      How to Find the Hardware Version on Your TP-Link Device
  3. Do you have the firmware (1.1.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 240715 Rel.60489n) once you bought it? If not, where did you download and update the firmware?

1. I bought in india from Amazon.in

2. Hardware Version: IN/5.8

3. Not available right now, but i downloaded from community beta firmware.

Hi,
Please try to download the official firmware(v1.1.0_240830) from our official website, unzip the firmware to obtain the .bin file, then upgrade the .bin file via the router's web UI and check whether you can update the firmware successfully.

Hi,

 

I tried updating the device with the suggested firmware version (Archer_MR600v5_1.1.0 Build 240830) Link: https://static.tp-link.com/upload/firmware/2025/202504/20250416/Archer_MR600v5_1.1.0%20Build%20240830.zip , but the firmware file is still not being accepted.

 

My device hardware version is 5.8, and I could not find any firmware specifically listed for this hardware version on any country’s official download center website.

 

Kindly help by sharing the correct firmware version compatible with Hardware Version 5.8 or suggest the appropriate solution for this issue.

for your model MR600(IN) V5.8, i think you are already on the latest firmware

you got this error because the firmware you tried is for  MR600(IN) V5.0

After confirming with the relevant teams, it's confirmed that the Archer MR600(IN) V5.8 uses a special firmware version and cannot be upgraded directly to the EU firmware.

Regarding the hardware version, please note that Vx.0=Vx.8(eg: V5.0=V5.8)
