I am writing from Bangladesh where I am using an imported Archer C6 V4 (US).

I’ve noticed a major discrepancy in firmware support between regions. While the EU versions of the C6 V4 have received multiple updates in late 2025, the US version has not seen a single update in nearly two years (stuck on Build 240430).

Because of this, US version users are missing out on critical features that are already available on the EU firmware, such as vpn.

Why has the US version been abandoned while the EU version continues to receive great feature updates? The hardware is practically identical. Will TP-Link release a new update for the US hardware soon to bring it up to par with the EU features, or at least provide a "Universal" firmware we can use?
