Hi TP-Link Team, @Sunshine @Joseph-TP @David-TP
I am facing a delay issue with automatic failover and failback in my TP-Link Archer MR600 V2 router.
Device Details:
- Model: TP-Link Archer MR600 V2
- Hardware Version: Archer MR600 v2.0
- Firmware Version: 1.9.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 250915 Rel.52419n
Issue:
- When primary WAN (fiber connection) goes down, router takes around 3–5 minutes to switch to backup 4G SIM (Jio).
- Similarly, once WAN/fiber connection is restored, switching back from SIM to WAN also takes several minutes.
- During this delay, internet is unavailable and affecting usage.
Additional Info:
- I faced the exact same issue earlier in TP-Link NX200 V1.
- At that time, TP-Link provided a beta firmware and the issue was resolved successfully.
- Now I am observing the same behavior in Archer MR600 V2 as well.
Request:
- Please check whether this is a known issue in current firmware.
- Kindly suggest any configuration changes/ workaround , or updated/beta firmware available to improve WAN failover and failback detection time.
