Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.0.5

Hello! I've just bought 2 Deco X1500 to dover my house wifi as i got problems with the Extenders.

I've 2 floors and i attached the first one to the Modem, and the second at the 2nd floor, when the signal of the first is stronger.

TpLink writes that they can cover like 370m2, but for both, after 5 meters distance, i got 2/3 of wifi signal, and the connectionnspeed is like half of checking near them.

How to solve? In the TpLink app there are no settings for them

Hi,
The WiFi range and speed of Deco units vary depending on several environmental factors. The actual coverage and speed you experience depend on factors such as your home's layout, wall materials, interference from other devices, and how you position your Deco units. Below are the instructions to improve your coverage and speed.

Best Regards

I also have the AX 1500. Main one is by the router in basement. Next one is in the attached garage. To help the one in the garage would it help to put one on main floor or is the one in the garage simple feeding off the one in the basement?? thanks a bunch.

If you don't mind beta testing a new app tp-link now has a heatmap option that will allow you to create a map of your place and see where the Wi-Fi weak spots are. You can learn more about it using the link below.

Unlock Full Home Coverage with Deco Heatmap. All Deco models are available!
