Model: Deco X1500
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.0.5

Hello! Today i'm trying to reconfigure the Deco X1500 (after i tried to remove the 5Ghz it crashes and never worked again).

I press reset, i cut off the electricity by pluggin them off, then restart the network creation.

The Lights are blue.

But i cannot connect anymore.

It connects to the wifi, then it writes "checking for internet connection..." Then it drops again and disconnects from wifi, and etc.

The internet from the modem works and is stable.

I cannot connect anymore to the app Deco too.

Why tplink products have all these problems?

How do i fix?

I'm just without wifi for these....

Thank you

Hi,
Typically, you can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot if you fail to set up the main Deco.
Main Deco Failed to Complete Setup

If you get stuck on the Test Internet Connection step, the following troubleshooting video may help you: What to do if I fail to configure the main Deco and get stuck on "Testing Internet Connection"?

If the above instructions do not help, please confirm the following information.
  1. What error message appears when you configure the main Deco? What's the LED status on the main Deco when configuring it, and when the error message appears?
  2. Can you see the created SSID appear on your phone, or does only the Deco's default SSID appear?
  3. What can you see on the Deco app > Network page?

Best Regards

1. The App says "The device is not connected, reconnect or delete this network" 2. Yes i see the SSID, also if i reset do it's the default Deco_xxxx, but i cannot connect. When i try to do so it connects a bit but the disconnects, and the app still not get the connection 3. Sometimes yes and sometimes it disappears Usually the LED are Green Flashing or Red stuck. In particular if i've this configured and change the network to only 2.4GHZ i cannot reconnect to network and it's red also for 1 hour. And if i press the reset button, the unplug and plug the cable it do the same of step 1. and 2.

Hi,
Typically, after you factory reset your Deco nodes, we suggest deleting the Deco network in the Deco app you created for them before setting up these Deco nodes again.

It's normal for the default SSID Deco_XXXX to appear after resetting the Deco. However, if you can see the new SSID you created during Deco configuration, the default SSID will disappear. The Pulse Green LED on the Deco indicates it is upgrading its firmware, and the Solid Red LED on the main Deco means it has no internet.
If you have a solid red light on the main Deco, please connect your phone to the SSID you created, and then refer to the instructions in this video to troubleshoot: What to do if I fail to configure the main Deco and get stuck on "Testing Internet Connection"?

If the main Deco has an unstable issue, the following instructions may help: Fix unstable connection when connected to the Deco network

Best Regards
