@Solla-topee thank you for your reply but the trust in "officially released firmware" is long gone. 

I have been tp-links guinea pig for long enough to know that these official releases still contain more than enough bugs to make life hell with the decos. 

That's why I'm asking for real user reports.

​I wanted to let you know that firmware update 1.8 has issues when more than 40 devices connected or more, compared to version 1.7. Because of this, I don't agree with upgrading and am staying on 1.7 since it is the best right now.

  @OeKintaro also ich habe zur erweiterung ein BE system dazugeholt. Habe den neuen BE als master hinzugefügt und die x55 neu einbinden wollen als satelliten. Die haben per Wlan null funtioniert, kurz da und dann keine verbindung. Die hatten die 1.8 Firmware drauf. Habe jetzt nach 2 tagen des probierens mal manuell auf 1.7 firmware gemacht und jetzt scheint es zu gehen.

  @Nean Do you mind sharing what kind of issues you’re running into? I’ve got over 60 devices connected myself (mostly IoT stuff like light switches and cameras). I’m seeing some random disconnections too, but I’ve been blaming the Eufy HomeBase 3. I still haven’t had time to disconnect its Wi‑Fi antenna, but it would help to know if the problem might actually be the Deco instead.
