Firmware Version:

Hi,
So, I have a damaged AX72, with wlan + 2 lan ports not working (due to a lightning). Wi-fi ok.
I also have an AX72 as main router, and a AX53 as an access point, connected to the AX72.

Regading the damaged AX72, can I use it as a wifi extender, as a satellite of the AX53, or it's just an expensive paper weight?

thanks.

If your AX72 wireless radio still works, you could try to use it as a satellite device, in case you're using the Easymesh feature on your AX72 main router.

If you still have two healthy LAN ports on that AX72, you could try to use one of them to configure it in AP mode (wired to the main AX72 or the AX53).

hi, problem is that the AX72 main router is out of range. Need to find a way to use the AX53, which is also an access point to the main AX72.

Your damaged AX72 (in AP mode), can be connected either to your main AX72 or to the AX53 - which one is feasible.
