Hi, everyone,

I would like some help in order to know if any of the existing TP-Link (both Deco and Archer lineup) and Mercusys 5G routers support Bridge Mode.

I've looking here in the official forum and in the TP-Link and Mercusys websites, but I haven't found any clear information about the Operating Modes of each 5G router and which ones support Bridge Mode (if any).

Thank you for all your help in advance! Really appreciate it!

Best Regards,

Hi,
We have the NE200-Outdoor support the IP Passthrough feature (rather than Bridge), which may meet your requirement. Below are detailed instructions for using the IP Passthrough feature.

Hi @Solla-topee, thank you for your answer! I will have a look at that model!

What about Deco 5G and Archer 5G routers? Does any of them have real bridge mode? I read in this forum that some hardware versions of the Deco X50-5G have bridge mode, but I would like to have precise and clear information about these Deco and Archer 5G routers from someone from TP-Link.

Really appreciate your help! Thank you!

Hi @Solla-topee, thank you for your answer!

Do you mean that the only TP-Link (both Deco and Archer lineup) or Mercusys 5G router that supports Bridge Mode is the Deco X50-5G or the only hardware version of the Deco X50-5G that supports Bridge Mode is the V1?

Really appreciate your help! Thank you!

Hi,

The only TP-Link (both Deco and Archer lineup) or Mercusys 5G router that supports Bridge Mode is the Deco X50-5G with hardware version 1.0.

Hi @Solla-topee, thank you for your answer!

I don't want to contradict you my any means, but I have been looking here in the TP-Link forum and website for more information about this topic and I found the following reply from someone saying that both Deco X50-5G hardware V1 and V3 fully support Bridge Mode:

And this Deco X50-5G V1.20 Datasheet includes "Bridge Mode" mode in the Working Modes list:

Also, the Deco BE65-5G (V2) website includes "Cellular Bridge Mode" in the Working Modes list and both Deco X10-5G (V1) and Deco X1500-5G (V1) Datasheets also include "3G/4G/5G Bridge Mode" in the Working Modes list (links below), so I'm assuming the Deco X50-5G is not the only Deco model that supports Bridge Mode.

I didn't found any Archer or Mercusys 5G routers that support Bridge Mode, but found at least these 2 Deco models other than the X50-5G that supposedly support Bridge Mode.

Given all this info can you double check if your previous answer is correct?

Really appreciate your help! Thank you!

Best regards,
