TP-Link and Mercusys 5G routers with Bridge Mode support
Hi, everyone,
I would like some help in order to know if any of the existing TP-Link (both Deco and Archer lineup) and Mercusys 5G routers support Bridge Mode.
I've looking here in the official forum and in the TP-Link and Mercusys websites, but I haven't found any clear information about the Operating Modes of each 5G router and which ones support Bridge Mode (if any).
Thank you for all your help in advance! Really appreciate it!

Hi,
We have the NE200-Outdoor support the IP Passthrough feature (rather than Bridge), which may meet your requirement. Below are detailed instructions for using the IP Passthrough feature.

Hi @Solla-topee, thank you for your answer! I will have a look at that model!
What about Deco 5G and Archer 5G routers? Does any of them have real bridge mode? I read in this forum that some hardware versions of the Deco X50-5G have bridge mode, but I would like to have precise and clear information about these Deco and Archer 5G routers from someone from TP-Link.
Really appreciate your help! Thank you!

Hi @Solla-topee, thank you for your answer!
Do you mean that the only TP-Link (both Deco and Archer lineup) or Mercusys 5G router that supports Bridge Mode is the Deco X50-5G or the only hardware version of the Deco X50-5G that supports Bridge Mode is the V1?
Really appreciate your help! Thank you!

Hi @Solla-topee, thank you for your answer!
I don't want to contradict you my any means, but I have been looking here in the TP-Link forum and website for more information about this topic and I found the following reply from someone saying that both Deco X50-5G hardware V1 and V3 fully support Bridge Mode:
And this Deco X50-5G V1.20 Datasheet includes "Bridge Mode" mode in the Working Modes list:

Also, the Deco BE65-5G (V2) website includes "Cellular Bridge Mode" in the Working Modes list and both Deco X10-5G (V1) and Deco X1500-5G (V1) Datasheets also include "3G/4G/5G Bridge Mode" in the Working Modes list (links below), so I'm assuming the Deco X50-5G is not the only Deco model that supports Bridge Mode.

I didn't found any Archer or Mercusys 5G routers that support Bridge Mode, but found at least these 2 Deco models other than the X50-5G that supposedly support Bridge Mode.
Given all this info can you double check if your previous answer is correct?
Really appreciate your help! Thank you!

Hi,
Thank you very much for your feedback. I have double-checked the information you provided with the relevant team, and the specific models and versions you mentioned do support bridge mode (listed below). You can choose the Deco model & version that interests you based on your needs and local availability.
Deco X50-5G V1.0/V1.20/V3
Deco BE65-5G V2
Deco X10-5G V1

Hi @Solla-topee, thank you for your answer!
That information really helps a lot! Thank you! However, I still have the following questions about this topic if could you help me, please:
- The Deco X3000-5G router looks to me exactly the same model as the Deco X50-5G with the only difference being the name. Does the Deco X3000-5G also support Bridge Mode like the Deco X50-5G, and if so, in which hardware versions?
- The Deco X50-5G V2 and BE65-5G V1 are the only hardware versions of the Deco models you mentioned in your previous answer that do not support Bridge Mode, right?
- The models you mentioned in your previous answer are the only Deco 5G models that support Bridge Mode or I forgot to mention some other Deco 5G existing models that also support Bridge Mode? The only other Deco 5G models I'm aware of are the X3000-5G (mentioned in a question above) and the Deco X80-5G. Does the X80-5G or other existing Deco models I didn't mention already (because I'm not aware of them) support Bridge Mode and, if so, in which hardware versions?
- Can you confirm if any of the existing TP-Link 5G Archer routers (Archer NX200, NX500, NX600, NB450, etc.) or Mercusys 5G routers (MB520-5G, MB510-5G, etc.) also support Bridge Mode?
Really appreciate your help! Thank you!
