Edit - it went sideways later but the solution was found, see my later post.

1.3.2 was a hot mess and should never have been released. Lots of issues with it and support pretty much was non existant. I was hesitant to install this but went ahead and installed it yesterday morning. So far, so good.

I have found a problem in my setup that I'm sure was affecting my experience 1.3.2 because it afffected 1.3.3 in a similar way not too much longer after my initial upgrade.
I'm posting it here in case it helps someone else. 
My channel width for 2.4GHz was set to 40Mhz only.  1.3.0 and previous versions seemed to fall back to 20MHz for 20Mhz clients, but 1.3.3 and I'm assuming 1.3.2 did not.    From the logs - the client informed the deco that it is 20MHz only when it connected but then a few minutes later the Deco bumped it up to 40 and it dropped. 
This resulted in wild flapping of many but not all of my IoT devices. 

A bit of stupidity on my part but fairly confusing when it had worked previously with a setting set stupidly.

All seems rock solid now!!

All is good, but the Deco seems to be trying to run a scheduled task every 30 mins and is failing with this error: 
cron.err crond[26437]: user root: parse error at 2026.  This scheduled task is only being attempted on the main Deco.

Can you just choose 2.4 20mhz channel in 1.3.3?
I have the a lot of IOT devices (home assistant) and some airco units working perfect in 2.4 20mhz, but have not installed the beta firmware.
Just using it wit the recent production firmware 1.3.2

I am not sure off the advantage of the new beta software and so long you can't go back to a former firmware , i don't want to upgrade.
Many devices with firmware can be transfered back to former firmware (Reolink fi).
Why will TP-Link take so many risk with publishing beta firmware, when ther is no fallback proces to the former firmware?

Not sure if you read the 'notes' but it says clearly: 

• You can downgrade the firmware to the previous official firmware v1.3.2.

TP Link it's great you're refining this firmware. Feedback from others here looks promising.

I will follow this topic, but a little bit afraid to upgrade, because i have the 3-pack and have the following situation working with no issues

AP mode
Router - Deco 1 - wireless Deco 2
                          - wireless Deco 3
 

I Have a lot off IOT devices working with the IOT mode, but have changed 2.4ghz settings to channel 6 and 20mhz
This works perfect with all my IOT, Airco's and home wizzard devices.
Changing te settings to auto will make it less stable, because there is a lot off interference from other houses
I live in the netherlands, where there are a lot of houses on a small area ;-)

For IOT devices it is a known given, that for less interference there are 3 channels for 2.4ghz  you can use to prevent distortion.
(channel 1, 6 or 11)
Bandwith will also be an issue so it's better to change that to 20mhz


My utp network is seperated with a separated switch connected to another port from the router. (1GB)
I have one pc connected to the main deco unit with utp.

My next step will be connecting the 2 satellites with utp and use the free ports off the satellites as switch
I have to wait for new UTP cables, because my Router will be upgraded to 2GB and first i must buy utp cables suitable for this speed


I  am not sure what the advantage will be if i upgrade to the latest BETA FW, so that's my situation

I have huge problems with 1.3.2 with Decos BE65 going randomly offline but I dont want to install the pre-release version.

Do you have an official release date for 1.3.3 ?

  @NX000001 I was like you with a lot of disconnection, (every day, several times a day) Since I installed the beta, no more disconnection and it's very stable! At worst, you can downgrade, but in view of all the feedback here, you won't need to do it.

@CharleyR I'm like you, with a lot of iot devices, I activated the iot network, all left in automatic and I have no problem. Being in a dense area in wifi, this is the first time I have so much stability with a router. Before I was at ASUS and it was a pain... you have the choice of wifi network mode (stable mode for me) and it's really day and night compared to other major router brands.
