Please ensure that the current WAN/internet IP is a public IP address.
Then please click here to enable the port forwarding on the TD-W9960.
If still the same, please show us some screenshots to do further analysis.
1. The screenshot of the status/device information page.
2. The pictures of the port forwarding settings page.

Hi I confirm, I have the same problem.
info:
Hardware Version:TD-W9960 v1 00000000
Firmware Version:1.2.0 0.8.0 v009d.0 Build 201016 Rel.78709n
TP-link's DDNS works correctly and dns queries are responded correctly(With my own public ip).
My ISP gives me public dynamic ip (Even my very old tp-link router works fine and route traffic correctly)
I seems even http remote management of this router works just fine.
but any configuration in virtual server menu does not work!
I don't know where the problem is.
by the way I have assigned my pc IP: 192.168.44.20(obviously in range of my own local network 192.168.44.0/24) and I have bineded a tcp connection to 0.0.0.0:2020. any firewall is turned off
Access from LAN with 192.168.44.20:2020 is ok. but even from LAN network wan_ip:2020 or ddns_domain:200 is not accessible
every this works just fine with my old router but not with 9960!

What should I do?
Thanks

Hi, may I know the model number, firmware and hardware of your modem, also TD-W9960 V1?

@TP-Link Hi, of course you can. On the other hand, let me know if and when you will check this issue. If it will take too long (or never), my modem/router has to go to warranty service and I have to buy something functional. Thanks, Filip

Hi,
Is this forum alive and does people get help here? I see no answer to "alialaei" for three weeks! And therefore I can doubt about reliability of this support channel. :( Please, let me know if I have a chance here for getting help. Thanks.

Hi, sorry for the delay.
Since we were not able to reproduce the same issue, could you please help me run the following test:
1. Download the http server from below: https://www.rejetto.com/hfs/
2. Run this file server on your windows PC then change the port to which one that you want to open or test;
3. Allow this server through your windows firewall: https://bing.com/search?q=allow+app+through+windows+firewall
With the three steps above, we will have a LAN server ready for the test.
4. Add a Virtual Server Rule on the modem such as port 111 for 172.31.49.174
5. Try to access the server via WAN:111
If you were able to access the local HFS server, the port forwarding should be fine.
