Disable Samba for Windows and Local FTP
Hello,
I've set the AX11000 in bridge mode. Please advise if there is a way to disable Samba for Windows and Local FTP at the USB Storage Device menu. If I deselect it, it keeps prompting me to "Please use the default value 21 or enter a value between 1024 and 65535." There's no way for me to edit any of the settings by itself.
Appreciate any help there!
Thanks!

Hello, does bridge mode mean access point mode?
Theoretically, these two options can be disabled manually. Please ensure that the USB sharing feature has been enabled first.
Besides, please show us a screenshot of the error message you saw.
Thanks a lot. Good day.

Thank you for your response. Yes, I mean I've placed the router in Access Point mode.
As mentioned, I try to uncheck the access method as I do not want to leave services running if I don't use them. However, I am unable to do so as unchecking them and trying to save will give me a prompt. Please see attached screenshot. Please advise if I'm doing something incorrectly.
Thanks!

Thanks for your valued reply.
We will forward it to our engineers and get some help. While cause it is the Spring festival in China, it will take a few days to get the feedback.
And if you want to use these functions, you can leave them as default states.
We will keep you posted.
Good day.

As a workaround, you can change the operation mode to Router, disable the Samba for Windows and Local FTP, then switch back to Access Point mode.
Be sure you are running the latest firmware on the AX11000.
