Model: Archer AX20
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20200326 rel.63489(5553)

So I am having issues setting up IPv6 on this router, My ISP uses PPPoE so naturally I had the IPv6 share the v4 session but all I am getting is a link local,

I should be getting this: is 2401:b740:1109:XXXX::/56 (last 4 digits removed)

I asked my ISP's rep on the australia site whirlpool and this is how they hand out IPv6

ipv6 is not delivered directly by dhcp. It's delivered during pppoe auth and if your router supports it, it will send via ipv6 PD – which essential creates and allocates a dhcp instance.

I have attached some screenshots because this is doing my head in.

Have tried to follow the AX20 userguide and everything suggests ive done it right but I am not an expert, any help appreciated.

Hello,

Hello,

Below are some instructions to set up an IPv6 connection on the wireless router:
How to set up an IPv6 Internet connection on the Wi-Fi Routers

If the connection still fails, please ensure you have activated the IPv6 service with your ISP and all the IPv6 parameters are correct, then verify the information as below:
1. What is your network topology, is it ISP modem--AX20?
2. Is the IPv4 connection on the AX20 good or not? What is the WAN IP address of it?
3. Have you confirmed with your ISP that the IPv6 connection type is the same as IPv4?

If all the above has been confirmed correct, please send us the whole system log on the AX20 and we will try to investigate further and help you out. BTW, who is your ISP?

Thanks.
