Model: TL-WPA8630 KIT
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Hi I have 2 TL-WPA8630P extenders. One is working just fine but the second has lost connection with the Powerline network. I've moved it closer to the first extender and eventually managed to re-pair them but when moving it back to its original location I get the Powerline network light on for 9 seconds (green) then off for 1 second. this goes on for ~5 mins then the light goes off completely. The light is never red. The unit was purchased January 2020. What to try?

@BananaRacer

Good day.

Did this issue happened to the 2nd extender since you bought it?

Have you tried to swap the location of the two extenders to see if the problem follows the specific extender, or stays on the same location?

 Thank you very much.

@BananaRacer Hi, I managed to resolve the issue by re-pairing the extender with the adaptor rather than the first extender. Not sure why I had to do this since the instructions say to re-pair with the first extender, but all is working now!
