A couple of times throughout the day, my Powerline LAN Connection randomly drops while the WIFI still works.

Already tried a few things like moving the Adapter to another Socket or changing the LAN Cables.

I tried making a task to ping the Standard Gateway whenever starting the PC and nothing worked.

 

On tpPLC, both Adapters still show up with approx. 150mbps whenever the Connection drops, could the problem be coming from the router?

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

May I know how long have you had the TL-PA4020pkit?

Since the TL-PA4020pkit does not have Wi-Fi ability, so I guess you mentioned the main router’s wireless connection still worked great when the LAN connection disconnected?

 Have you ever tried to swap the location of the two adapters and also connect the adapter to the different Ethernet port of the main router to have a look?

 

By the way, how long have you had the adapters?

Hello Solla,

I had the adapters for a couple of years already, should be approx. 4-5 years by now.

When i mentioned the router WIFI Connection, i meant that Phone and TV still work without any problems.

 

By swapping the location of the adapters, do you mean the socket?

If yes, I couldn't try that because the next socket is on the other side of the room in both cases and i don't have a LAN Cable of that length.

I could try another Ethernet port on the router though.
