Good day,
Thank you very much for your time and patience.
May I know where are you located?
And what is the region code of the RE200, US or EU?
Normally, the EU version supports band 1/2/3 on the 5ghz;
US version supports band 1/2/3/4 on the 5ghz;
Thanks a lot.

@Solla-topee they are more than 4 channels, so this doesn't help, and this is not a region issue, when set to channel 100 it broadcasts at channel 36

Good day,
Thanks a lot for your time and patience.
Sorry for the delay.
The RE200(UK) supports the following channels on 5Ghz;
band1 (36 40 44 48)
band2 (52 56 60 64)—DFS channel
band3 (100 104 108 112 116 120 124 128 132 136 140)—DFS channel
so it should be ok on the channel 100;
For further assistance, may I know the model number of your home router?
And have you tried to change the channel to be 48 or 44 so see if it still sticks to channel 36?
By the way, what is the hardware and firmware version about RE200?
Really sorry for the inconvenience.
Waiting for your reply.

@Solla-topee you do not get my issue at all, i have changed the channel many time and it sticks at 36 or 48 when set at 100, i have found out my smart tv may be causing it and also the router has nothing to do with it as its in Acess Point mode but its my ISPs router

Hi, thanks for your patience.
In case there Is any further misunderstanding, could you please help me check the following information:
1. When the RE200 Is set up as access point mode, even if the channel was manually chosen 100, or any channel above 48, it would always stick to 36 or 48, right?
--May I know where did you check the current channel on the RE200, on its status page, or using the Wi-Fi analyzer?—can I have some pictures of that?
2. Would this channel issue cause any interference for your current wireless connection?
By the way, what are the current hardware and firmware version of the RE200?
Thank you very much and wait for your reply.
