Can't access my extender after firmware update
Okay, so I've updated my extender via the Tether app and after the reboot, I can't seem to access the extender via app or web.
I've tried to reset the device multiple times and still, nothing happened. Tried to unplug and plug it back, all the LED would light up but only the power indicator would remain.
Has someone experienced this before or has anyone resolved this issue?

Good day,
Sorry for the delay.
Did you also have RE205 V3?
If yes, how about your current firmware version?
Are you still able to get internet service from RE205?
Could you please help me check the IP address and default gateway when it is connected to the RE205?
And if possible, please also try to ping the tplinkrepeater.net
Thank you very much!

@TP-Link hello, thanks for the reply. I actually have the RE305. I updated via the app and since then only the power light comes on and does not allow me to either connect to it nor reset it as instructed. I'm completely locked out. Is there anything else I can try?

Hi, it seemed like the firmware bricked the extender.
And is there any power outage during the firmware upgrade?
If not, please feel free to contact the shop retailer to check for warranty service.
Thank you very much.
