Model: Archer AX50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.9 Build 20200708 rel.55037(4555)

So the title sums it up.

Bought this "thing" about 2-3 months ago and its been giving me headaches ever since.

1. WAN port gets stuck to 100mb/s even tho' my connected clients are 1000mbs and 100mbs (2 wired clients).
Tried setting the negotiation to "Full Duplex 1000mbs" and tried about 4 or 5 Cat 5e cables (INCLUDING the one that came with the router).
My connection directly with the ISP is 1000mbs and speedtest shows around 700mbs. Needless to say that speedtest through the router doesnt go over 93mbs....

2. Hard reboots required at random times. The router simply dies on me and loses all connections. Can't even access the router administration page (192.....).
Weird thing here? If I'm in a game or voice app (already connected) -> those continue working until I manually disconnect from them.
DNS issue perhaps?

So here I am, paying for 1Gig internet and getting 100mbs.

Does anyone have any idea before I throw this thing out ?

EDIT: Forgot to mention - Also tried factory reset for both issues, no luck.
EDIT2: Just to reinforce the fact that the cables are perfectly fine I just got my dusty AC1200 out of the closet and I'm getting 900mbs speeds.

@Taerarenai

Have you tried to connect this AX50 to the ISP modem's different LAN ports? Give that a go and check if there is a difference.

BTW, who is your ISP? What kind of modem are you using? If it is a modem router, you may try to switch the AX50 to access point mode, check if you can negotiate at 1000Mbps with the modem.

@Kevin_Z Tried a different router entirely and it works with no issues. Can't choose other ports anyway since only 1 is enabled by ISP.

Sent this back to the service.
