Hi Folks,

I want to use access control on my router settings to restrict some of my children's apple devices from being online. Unfortunately, they seem to be able to connect to the wifi through the extender, which does not show up as an online device on my router settings page and so therefore they are getting around the block.

Apple seems to have a feature where one devices can help another to connect to wifi without entering the password, this is driving me crazy! The only way I can see I can stop my kids doing this is to block access via the router, but I can't seem to do it!

Cheers, Sam

@Sambotto

Hi , RE will create virtual MAC address for the wifi Clients behind it, so Wi-Fi client's real MAC does not show up on router.

You could try to set up Access control on range extender directly.

How to set access control on my range extender (new logo)?
