Hi,

I am trying to use a Netgear GS108E switch in one of the data ports on an M4R to increase the number of hardwired devices. Anything plugged into the switch can get DNS info back but there is no Internet connection for anything plugged into the switch.  The M4 is in Router mode and need router mode to allow Parental control and QoS

What am I missing?

Jon

@Jon1961

Hi, could you please provide me a picture of your network topology?

Have you checked the IP address on the device connected to the switch when there is no internet?

Thank you very much and wait for your reply.

@TP-Link

Hi

There should be a diagram attached.

The IP addresses of devices connected to the switch are correct and DNS works the devices just can't get a full internet connection. If either the NAS box or Laptop are plugged in to the M4R instead of the switch, that device connects correctly and works fine.

Thanks,

Jon
