MR-6400 stops download at 2 Gb
Hello All!
My router produces the following error. When downloading large files with any browser, the download is interrupted at 2 Gb. Only for contiguous large files - e.g. iso- the problem occurs, there is no error with other stream (torrent download or Geforce Now, etc). The problem also exists on several connected Win10 64bit PCs, android phones, both cable and wifi connections. My internet service is flawless, there is no problem with another router. I did not set any restrictions in the menu, there is a problem even after a factory reset and reset button. I use the router with a PPPOE connection. Thanks for the ideas!

Do you mean the MR6400 is working at wireless router mode, not at the 4G router mode, right? This 2 GB is a one-time download, or does it count for the whole download multiple times?
Who is your ISP?

@Kevin_Z Yes, I use it in wireless router mode, not with sim card. The problem persists with every dowload, if the file is bigger then 2 Gb. The dowload speed reduces to 0 at 2 Gb, then after a few minutes the browser stop trying, and interrupt the dowload.
There is no problem with my ISP, my old router working without this problem, since many years. It is interesting, that if I connect the old router to the ISP side (wan), and the new router after it as a switch, the problem comes up again.

That's weird. We have reported the issue to the support engineers, they will likely reach out to you via email to continue to troubleshoot your issue.
Just to confirm, can we have the firmware version of the MR6400? You can check it on its web page.

Thank you! The actual firmware version is in the topic subject. I copied itfrom the web page. It was updated via the router menu, not with pendrive. The problem already existed before the upgrade. I've got this router since last summer, but it was used in our weekend house with sim card, so this problem was unknown until I brought it home and started to use, replacing the old ZTE router. Thank you for your help. This week im on holiday, the router is at home, I can give you the most accurate information on Saturday if necessary.

I can't find any settings in the admin to change this.
