Mixing Deco X20 hardware version 1.2 and 2.0

I have 3 units of Deco X20, hardware version 1.2, firmware version 1.5.1_20210204 (latest).
Recently I purchased 1 more unit of Deco X20 to expand the mesh network, hardware version 2.0, firmware version 1.0.6_210424 (latest).
Because of the new Deco X20 hardware version is 2.0, I thought it would be better if I make it the "Main Deco".
As soon as I switch the new Deco X20 to Main Deco, from the Deco App, I think I have lost 2 features, "Test Internet Speed" and more importantly "Network Optimization". They are not showing on the App anymore. I don't know what other features I am losing yet.
Questions,
1. Is TP-Link going to release a new firmware for Deco X20 hardware version 2.0 to support at least the 2 features above? When?
2. Technically, is it not better to use the Deco X20 with newer hardware to be the "Main Deco"? If yes, why is it supporting less feature than older hardware version?
