Hi,

I'm looking for a 4G WiFi router.

I want to put it in a vacation home to connect the surveillance cams. But sometimes there are troubles with stable power supply.

It can take up to 4-5 days to become available again.

So I need a router which will start and reconnect immediate after the power supply is back.

Does the MR6400 offer such function?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, comparing with MR6400, I think M7650 or M7450 would be better since it has battery for power supply.

@TP-Link

No, that's not enough battery power.

At some point, it WILL run out of battery because the break of power supply can take up to 4-7 days!

It would be fine if the router would start up after getting power again.

Could you please tell me if MR6400 could do this?

@zwiebelchen89

Hi, thank you for the additional information.

MR6400 would startup as long as the SIM card is recognized after getting power again.
