Privacy warning
Hello
just had a privacy warning come up on my iPad and then both iPhones would allow access to the internet while on wifi. The privacy warning was 'This next work is block encrypted DNS traffic'
Then after 5 mins all started working again? Any ideas?

@Karl_31 @JanRekenaar Cessmation23 @Ampang @Josjevp,
I found in my messages this message from TP-link with this email address: zoe.ma@tp-link.com.
If we email our problem, maybe they will do something about it. Sorry for the tag, but I think everyone values their privacy.

Best tp-link,
We have a issue with different types of deco devices showing a privacy warning on Apple devices. Sinds the last couple of months of 2021 we tagged tp-link but didn't reply. We value our privacy and we don't want to be woried because of our wifi booster making us nervous while using our own wifi. We tried everything even but didn't work (even changing the dns to 1.1.1.1 of cloudflare). The deco devices are getting not a lot of updates and this concerns user. Please reply to this email with a solution because this is already going on for a half year.
Kind regards,

@TP-Link i am also facing the similar issues, the resolution described works only for few days or hours and secondly they have to fix this issue, they are just playing hide and seek out here

The solution mentioned here doesn't work, it is a bug in the firmware and has nothing to do with apple plus the recommended solution works for a few @TP-Link

Hi, Thank you for the feedback.
I can assure you that it is not a firmware bug of Deco.
If searching on the internet, you will see much feedback about this encrypted DNS on different networks with different brands routers.
For example, if you search "encrypted DNS" over the internet, there are plenty of relevant discussions.

@TP-Link I do not agree with your answer. Apple's warning is "that the network is blocking encrypted DNS". This means : the Deco router. So the question is : Why is Apple saying this? Cause usually they are right.

@TP-Link both solutions do NOT work. There gotta be some solution cause the Deco M5 for instance, which is sold still today largely, must get WPA3. It is 2022 you gotta support this protocol that is already 4 years old and is much more secure than WPA2 which is prone to DoS Attacks. Apple is saying things right. And now its apple but the next time its Microsoft. Hoe long are you TPLink gonna wai with updating your routers?
