Issue Description/Phenomenon:
When the computer is connected to the Deco network, and tried to ping Deco IP or external network domains, the ping increases sharply every few seconds, and the replied time may reach 3000ms. See below ping test:


Background:
The problem is caused by the abnormal handling of the 802.11k roaming packet by the network card of the computer. In addition to Deco, the same problem also occurs on the Home OneMesh routers.

 

Solution:
1. Updated the driver of the Realtek network card to be the latest version first.
2. Turn off the Mesh Technology on the Deco APP for the devices.
