Model: TL-PA8030P KIT
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:
Hello,

we have the following Powerline Setup across 3 floors:

In the second floor we have the router/modem which is connected to the internet (hybrid modem, DSL and radio). In the room where the modem/router is, we also have 1x Powerline Adapter TL-PA8030P V3 connected to the router.

The second TL-PA8030P V3 we have in a neighboring room connected to a PC, right beside the room with the modem/router and the first TL-PA8030P V3.

Then in another neighboring room next to the first neighboring room, we have a TL-PA8010P connected to a PC.

In another neighboring room, right on the other side of the room with the router, we have a TL-PA4010P AV600 connected to a printer.

On the first floor we have a TL-PA8010P connected to an Access Point.

In the basement we have a TL-PA4010P AV600 connected to another Access Point.

Now the problem:
When I pair the two TL-PA8030P V3, I get our full Internet speed (around 50Mbit) for a while, probably for a couple of minutes. But then after a couple of minutes, I only get 8-10 Mbit until I pair them again. Does anyone have any suggestions what this might be?

Greetings!

UPDATE:

Just in case anyone experiences the same issues as I described above:

I activated the "Lower PLC-to-VDSL Interference Mode" in the settings of each tp-link Powerline Adapter, which at least gives us constant 30-40 Mbit on average.

Greetings!

@tpuser153 thank you so much for updating solution here with us.

For 8/ 9 series powerine device, if you have  a VDSL modem  near the  powerline device, they may cause some interference to each other, You may put powerline device a bit further away from the modem. Here are some FAQs that may helps the user who has similar concern.

What does Lower PLC-to-VDSL interference Mode do on powerline adapters?

What can I do if my powerline rate is very low?
