Model: Adapter
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

I had this problem with the t3u plus receiver and felt dumb when I looked at the box again and it said USB 3.0. The receiver will need to be plugged into USB 3.0 or above. It will not be compatible with 5g networks if it is in a USB 2.0 port. Double check where you have the receiver plugged in. The driver is outdated but it still runs properly so you can install the t3u driver as well and have it work.

Hello   @RouB

Thank you for the case sharing, and glad to know switching to USB3.0 helps fixed the 5Ghz issue.

Theoretically, USB 3.0 is backwards compatible, so  the both 2.4Ghz& 5Ghz WIfi bands should work even in a USB 2.0 port.

If anyone experiences similar problem, besides trying the latest official driver for T3U plus, you could also check if Realtek Chipset Drive helps.
