AC1300-Archer-T3U will not work on USB 3.0 port
This problem has been reported by other users. Earliest that I've found on this forum is from 2020. I believe that I've reported this problem to tech support back in 2021 when reporting problem with its drivers.
The unit will work fine on the standard USB-A port on a PC or laptop.
However, when connected to the USB-A 3.0 port it will repeatedly loose it's 5G connection (as well as the standard 4G). Once in a while, it will hold the WiFi connection but only on rare occasions. And when it does, the thru-put speed is horribly slow.
NOTE: edited on 2022-09-26 for mistake naming USB-A 3.0 port as USB-C port. Realized error after seeing feedback/reply to post.
