2000+ping every 15 seconds
Hi,
I'm having an unusual problem with my USB adapter. I have normal ping for about 15 seconds and then it spikes to 2000 for a second and then comes back down to normal.
I have run the following command to receive this information: ping www.google.com -t
I have tried the following solutions, which I found from this other thread that had a similar problem (different model though) https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/256480:
-Uninstalling my network adapter and re-downloading the drivers
-The following commands:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
NETSH winsock reset catalog
NETSH int ipv4 reset reset.log
NETSH int ipv6 reset reset.log
(Followed by a restart)
-Following commands:(Enter after each, followed by a restart)
netsh int ip reset reset.txt
netsh winsock reset
netsh advfirewall reset
This temporarily fixes the problem after I restart my computer but is not a permanent fix. Can anyone help me fix this problem for good?
Thank you!
