Model: Deco X90
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.4 Build 20230807 Rel. 65977

When i am enabling a guest network or an IoT network on my Deco X90 (in router mode) the devices that i add on those new enabled networks keep getting IP numbers in the same range and with the same subnet mask as my devices in the main network.

I checked this by pinging from one network to the other from devices not in the same network.  I also rebooted my Deco X90 after making the guest and IoT network before using them but with the same 'problem'. It's weird that both networks aren't isolated from the main in spite of what i still read in comments or find in support files.

Hope you can help me out on this.

  @HansBe

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

It is expected for the Main, Guest, and IOT networks to be under the same IP range.

The guest network should be separated from The Main/IOT network, but the IOT network is not separated from the Main Network.

Wait for your reply and best regards.

  @David-TP Thank you fro the quick reaction, but is there a way to isolate also the IoT network on my Deco X90? I am thinking of buying the TP-Link Omada TL-SG2008 but also think, that with only my Deco X90 as wireless point i also can't realize that. My aim is to have a wireless guest and IoT network, seprated from my main network. My router is the  ER605 with attached to that my Deco X90 ( providing me wireless) and a switch for cabled connections.

  @HansBe

Hi, It doesn't support isolating the IOT and main network on Deco yet.

With ER605+ Omada TL-SG2008, I think the Omada EAP Access points would be more appropriate:

Thank you very much and best regards.
