Cannot login with PC to configure AX-55 since Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20240129 rel.57815(4341)
Since Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20240129 rel.57815(4341) when I try to login to the router it accepts my TP Link password (Operation successful) then immediately returns me to the login screen. Local password also does the same thing but no "operation successful" message.
The only thing that works is connecting directly the router with my PC with an ethernet cable and bypassing the internet connection.
Also the Tether app is showing my AP mode AX-55 as having no active client connections to it. None of the stats are present on the screen, but the router works just fine. Everything is working just as if the router was in perfect order.

@Sunshine I'm not going to live troubleshoot with an engineer unfortunately, but ill assist the best i can. I will also install beta firmware on my second AP if available to test. Is there a way we can use "Remote Management" on the router to create another way to connect to it to login? Maybe that works instead of a local password.

Hi, the debug cannot be done via remote management feature of the AX55, but I just sent the beta firmware to you via private message, please just test if it solves the issue in your case.
Looking forward to the test results!

@Sunshine CONFIRMED the beta firmware made it so when i tried to login to the AP it reopened the setup page (it asked me to put in my WiFi settings, then save, then the interface is back up). I can see the number of clients again. Success!

Great! Really happy to hear that the beta firmware works for you as well. You may also monitor it for longer time and check if it still works as expected even after some time or several reboots.

Yesterday, I tried every configuration / operation thinkable, and I believe that it's "lock-out" issue was successfully resolved with the BETA firmware version supplied to me by the support team.
Although I have noticed a few abnormalities and annoyances, I do not consider these "showstoppers" and I am comfortable with the ticket closure.
I will continue to use my AX55(CA) with the BETA version of the firmware and set the router in automatic firmware update so things should become normal in a while.
Thank you everyone for the support.

I have this same 1.3.1 Build 20240129 rel.57815 update waiting on my TP-Link AX3000 (Archer AX55) and found this thread via googling before installing (once bitten twice shy).
Will this beta fix be pushed out via an online firmware update? I am wary of installing the current update and losing the ability to manage my router.

Hi, beta firmware will not be pushed via online update, the issue will be fixed via next official firmware update.
The issue mentioned in this thread only happens in AP mode, if your AX55 router is in Router mode, you could still update the 1.3.1 Build 20240129 rel.57815.

@Sunshine Ok, thanks for the information, I am currently using it in router mode and so will go ahead and apply the firmware with fingers crossed.
I imagine an official release won't be anytime soon, so will have to remember not to use the router in AP mode as I used to.
I have an Archer A6 V2 that I wanted to use in wireless AP mode but it didn't have a compatible mesh with the AX55 (onemesh vs easymesh), will retry on this new firmware.
