Model: RE300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.9 Build 20221009 Rel. 29646

hi, my range extender doesnot pickup 5ghz channel of my main router which is running on channel 149. Range extender does not pickup the 5ghz signals even though i can see signals on my phone. Also there is no option to change the range extender 5ghz channel to 149 or any other channel, its only stuck on channel 36. I have seen many forums with people having this issue, also i am not using this RE in EU so there should be an option to change the channel here. My previous tp-link router also had faults and i bought this new one but i am not able to use the 5ghz because of this channel limitation. Please how can i change this, this is very important.

Hello @nabeel_123, thanks for posting in the community.

This has been explained here in the following thread, please refer to the suggestions to change the wireless channel on the host router:

What if TP-Link Extender is not detecting the 5GHz Signal of the Main Router?
