Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.10 Build 20240121 rel.51472(4A50)

I have successfully established a wireless Easymesh connection between Archer AXE5400 and BE805. However, I noticed that there are only 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band connections between them. I have set the BE805 router as the main router and the AXE5400 router as the satellite router.

screenshot of BE805 easymesh dashboard

Here are the firmware and hardware versions of the routers:

Archer BE805 Firmware Version: 1.0.10 Build 20240121 rel.51472(4A50)

Archer BE805 Hardware Version: Archer BE805 v1.0

AXE5400 Firmware Version: 1.0.2 Build 20231031 rel.31479

Unfortunately, I couldn't find the hardware version information of AXE5400 as it only shows the firmware version on BE805's dashboard.

Both routers are enabled with 6 GHz wireless channels. I disabled the MLO and TWT features in BE805 but enabled the OFDMA/MU-MIMO feature.

I am wondering if there is a possible way to enable the Easymesh feature between these two routers with 6 GHz channels.

Hi, unfortunately, Archer BE805 and the Archer AXE5400 don't support 6GHz backhaul, thus only the 2.4G and 5G WiFi can be used to connect the two routers. However, 6GHz client devices can still see and connect the 6GHz WiFi of the routers.

@woozle Upon checking, JP version of Archer AXE5400 does support EasyMesh, but other versions don't, thus this model is still labelled as Planned on the EasyMesh router list.

Hi,

You should be able to find the exact model name and hardware version of the "AXE5400" printed on a label either on the bottom or the backside of the device.

Actually I am a bit surprised that TP-Link has an "AXE5400" router that supports EasyMesh, as the models shown on www.tp-link.com do not (yet) have it.
