I have a network with a X60 as main unit and one X60 and 2 X20 as additional units with Ethernet (switched) backhaul.

I am using the IoT network for smart devices like switches etc.

What are the limits regarding the number of clients?

Are the clients limited per unit the client is connected to or for the whole system?

Does adding more units increase the connectrd device number?

I have a separate router that does the DHCP and NAT, so that's not an issue the Deco system needs to deal with.

  @chaim2

Hi, welcome to the community.

the clients' limit is for the whole system. Adding more Deco units usually will not increase the connected device number.

The smart devices mainly use a 2.4GHz band which is often crowded  and easily affected by the nearby wireless interference working on the same spectrum, such as Bluetooth / Zigbee, etc. The recommended connected numbers are about 30~40.

 Thank you very much and best regards.
